Northern Wings Repair is an unequivocal leader. Ten years ago this company was located in a pole barn in the middle of an Upper Peninsula field, and had 2 employees. Today, the 15 employees work in a state-of-the art facility in the Newberry Industrial Park, and have plans to once again increase their size by at least a third this fall. Northern Wings Repair is a Certified FAA Repair Station, making and repairing parts for aviation, industrial or commercial needs. They also provide non-destructive testing of materials and parts, and have contracts with NASA, Boeing Aerospace, Lockheed Martin and the United States Army, among others.
